Urodynamic studies evaluate the anatomy and function of the lower urinary tract, including the bladder, bladder outlet and urethra. The diagnostic services offered at UCLA include pressure studies, fluoroscopic x-rays (VCUG) and other radiographic evaluations, cystoscopy, transrectal ultrasound, uroflowmetry, and multi-channel video urodynamics. A variety of innovative treatments for urinary incontinence are offered at UCLA, including durasphere injections, bladder neck suspension, myofascial release, electrical stimulation for bladder control, TUNA, neuromodulation, and implantation of urinary prosthetic devices.
