Trial:  Interstitial Cystitis- A study to evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture on symptoms

Objective
 

A study to evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture on symptoms of interstitial cystitis



Patient Eligibility
 

If you have been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis or if you have symptoms of Pain with Overactive Bladder symptoms of frequent urination with urgency, are at least 18 years old, you may qualify to participate in a research study that will investigate the possible role of Acupuncture in alleviating the symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis.

 

The study has two components and all participants will be randomized.  Your participation in the study will last approximately 12-24 weeks.
