Trial:  Kidney Transplantation - The Effects of Switching Kidney Transplant Patients with Diabetes from Prograf® to Neoral

Objective
  To discover the effects on blood sugar levels of switching patients who are currently taking Prograf® and who have developed diabetes after receiving a kidney transplant, to Neoral®.


Trial Design
  This is an “open label” study in which subjects will have a 50/50 chance of either receiving Neoral® or staying Prograf®.


Patient Eligibility
 

Enrollment Criteria*:

  • 18 – 70 years of age
  • Had had a kidney transplant within the last 12 months
  • Are currently using Prograf®
  • Have been diagnosed with diabetes or abnormally high blood sugar levels
